At three years old, my computer is starting to feel old age in a bad way. I can no longer paint in Photoshop. Since my last employer went bankrupt and couldn't pay my salary, I am utterly without the funds to pay for a new computer. A friend says my problem could be solved by re-installing the whole thing, so I'm going to try and look into that. Until that happens, I am not going to be able to submit a whole lot, if anything, to dA. Now some good news: I've been accepted into Art History at Aarhus University, and am starting at the end of the month.

Yeeeaaah I wasn't going to say anything, but I'm too psyched. I'm going to Jordan today!! I've NEVER been to the Middle East before, and did not see it coming in the foreseeable future, but as it turns out my sibs are pretty awesome. Who knew, right? My big sister is working for the UN in Jordan, and she and my brother sort of decided it was time they made good on a promise for a sibling weekend-trip made years ago, which with interest and all amounted to, "Hey, let's all of us meet up in Jordan, we're paying for your ticket Laura because we are fully educated adults with full-time jobs."
